Alongside her performance career, Caoimhe is a passionate and dedicated teacher and conductor. As well as being a tutor on The Irish Recorder and Viol Summer School, she has guest conducted the Scottish Recorder Orchestra and led playing days at the North London Branch of the Society of Recorder Players.

Caoimhe has been an examiner for the MTU Cork School of Music and the Royal Irish Academy of Music, as well as tutoring and mentoring students at Aldeburgh Young Musicians.

She has a wealth of experience in one-to-one, small group, whole class and ensemble teaching, with students from beginner to diploma level. She teaches regularly at The Lyceum School, The Belham Primary School, where she is also the Peripatetic Music Coordinator, and City Lit, where she conducts a variety of adult recorder ensembles.

Caoimhe so enjoys sharing her love of all things recorder with her colleagues from Palisander, delivering music workshops to children and leading playing weekends for adults at Hawkwood Manor.
