Alongside her performance career, Caoimhe is a passionate and dedicated music teacher with students from beginner to diploma level. She is experienced in one-to-one, small group and whole class teaching, as well as leading large ensembles, such as orchestras and wind bands. Caoimhe teaches recorder, clarinet, flute and music theory at Waltham Forest Music Service and The Lyceum School, a preparatory school in Central London. She also offers private tuition. Caoimhe enjoys delivering music workshops to children ages 2-11, with her quartet Palisander, and has volunteered with the Society of Recorder Players where she has lead numerous playing days for adults at the North London branch. As well as being invited to be a specialist external examiner at the CIT Cork School of Music in Ireland, she has coached ensembles in technique and performance there. Caoimhe is co-leader of the Creative Music Ensemble in Waltham Forest, an initiative of Barbican Creative Learning, and she is a mentor for Aldeburgh Young Musicians.
